Spring Time in Westfield

Spring is most definitely my favorite time of year – especially here in Westfield! A few weekend's ago was the annual Girls Night Out event which was organized by the fantastic Downtown Westfield Association. Women from all over the state (and from other states) flocked to Westfield to shop in our fabulous downtown. Local stores participated by offering great deals and yummy snacks. I tried a cake batter dip in LeBain Boutique that was to die for!

It was so much fun to hit the town for the night to check out what our local stores have in stock this spring and meet lots of lovely ladies. I met a group of women who traveled five hours to Westfield just to visit the Farmhouse Store during Girls Night out. Why? Because Aunt Barbara made an appearance and put on a fabulous Drag Tupperware show. It was absolutely hysterical. Check out the Girls Night Out 2014 album on 365 Things Westfield to look at some photos!

If you thought Girls Night Out was a blast, then you probably had a great time at the Annual Spring Fling! The Spring Fling is another annual Westfield tradition which is sponsored by the Greater Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce. The streets of Downtown Westfield shut down for the day and are transformed into a fun family festival. Local businesses and vendors set up booths to showcase their products, offer special deals, samples and more! Plus there were tons of delicious food, rides and games for the kids, and activities for all ages.

Unfortunately I could not make the event this year because I attended my little niece's communion. It's those precious moments that I just can't miss! With all the great photos of the Spring Fling that I've seen all over social media, I feel like I was actually there!

The fun doesn’t stop there this spring. Local businesses and residents are thrilled to be done with winter and ready to embrace the warm weather. Different kinds of activities and events will be going on all spring long! 365 Things Westfield is a great place to find out what’s happening in town, and a great resource to share your own events. Last but certainly not least – spring is a fabulous time of year because it’s the best time to buy or sell your home! Being a local realtor for Coldwell Banker has taught me the ins and outs of real estate – and spring is always the best market! Check out my blog that goes into more detail about why right now is the best time to buy or sell. If you have any questions or if you are looking to buy or sell, give me a call at 732-713-0051.
