Sparta to Hold SCCC Instant Decision Day

SPARTA, NJ- On Tuesday, May 20 Sussex County Community College will be hosting an Instant Decision Day at Sparta High School.   Students will have the opportunity to meet with an admissions representative.  Decisions on acceptance to Sussex County Community College will be made at the event.

The application fee will be waived for Sparta High School students who have not yet applied.

School Guidance Counselor Anthony Lombardo said, "Community college serves a purpose.  Whether a student chooses to attend for financial reasons or academic reasons, Sparta Township Schools recognizes this need for its students.  The Sparta High School Guidance has partnered with SCCC for close to a decade in offering an on-sights instant decision day.  This year SHS will be offer the Accuplacer placement test on sight at SHS.  It’s one stop shopping for college admission so to speak.”

Interested students can go to the high school guidance department for additional information and to register for the event.
