South Orange Temple Celebrates New Year With 'Sweet Start'

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ -- Temple Sharey Tefilo-Isreal in South Orange welcomed the New Year with an innovative new program.
Approximately 300 members of the congregation and the community gathered on the temple's front lawn where multiple generations enjoyed songs, readings and apples and honey before going home to enjoy a family dinner or staying for the evening service.
