LIVINGSTON, NJ – Livingston based accounting firm Sobel & Co hosted a complimentary seminar on Thursday Oct. 24 for current clients and business leaders. Over 150 local professionals attended the event to hear Sobel & Co.’s managing partner, Alan Sobel give a presentation entitled “Leadership: The Next Frontier of Your Business.”
“The value of leadership is way too high to just leave it to chance,” Sobel told his audience. He also emphasized that growth and operations are topics that most business owners focus the majority of their time on, yet they complain about their lack of future leadership.
“At Sobel & Co we are proud of our role as our clients’ 'most trusted' advisor and our value goes well beyond numbers,” explained Sally Glick, Sobel’s chief growth strategist. “It is the business and industry advice and the insights that we offer that help our clients make wise decisions. Often the financial component is the basis but the business acumen we demonstrate is the component clients rely on.”
In addition to Sobel’s presentation, attendees were also given an opportunity to brain storm and share ideas. Mike Scalera, a local State Farm business owner shared with his group that, “it’s important to put time into your employees. If you don’t show devotion then they won’t look at you as their leader.”
Sobel & Co. offers several workshops throughout the year for current clients as well as local business people. For more information contact Sally Glick at firstname.lastname@example.org and visit www.sobel-cpa.com to get more information on Sobel’s accounting and business services.
