Six-Figure Workers Comp Check for Firefighter

PATERSON, NJ – The City Council on Wednesday approved a $105,876 workers’ compensation settlement with Paterson firefighter Carl Larson.
The resolution authorizing the payment says part of the money is for “ongoing injuries and pain in his neck and back since 1991.’’
The resolution also says Larson injured his left ankle when he stepped into a pothole while getting off a fire truck on March 13, 2010.
