Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Israel to Hold Kick-Off Brunch

The Sisterhood of Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will hold its annual kick-off brunch for current and prospective members on Sunday, September 9 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.. The brunch is free and open to the community.
Sisterhood Board members will speak about this year’s upcoming activities and discuss opportunities for women to become involved in the organization. Some of the events planned for this year include: an evening with a psychic; a family Shabbat dinner and Hanukkah show; Sisterhood Shabbat; and a White Elephant sale. Volunteers also reach out to the larger community through Sisterhood’s social action committee. Sisterhood’s programs appeal to women of all ages.
