WEST ORANGE, NJ - Short Hills attorney Mitchell Rait, a Partner at Budd Larner, PC, received the Bernard J. Kuttner Pro Bono Service Award for his legal work on behalf of Covenant House New Jersey at the Essex County Bar Association Annual Installation and Awards Dinner last month at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange.
"By helping Covenant House with its legal issues on a pro bono basis, Covenant House did not have to take money away from its core mission of serving homeless youth," Rait said.

In addition to food, shelter, clothing, and crisis care, Covenant House New Jersey provides health care, educational and vocational services, counseling, drug abuse treatment and prevention programs, legal services, mother/child programs, transitional living programs, street outreach, and aftercare.
