WARREN, NJ- A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is now in effect for most of New Jersey. Storms are moving rapidly at 50 mph and should be at the coastline around 11 p.m. Winds in excess of 60 mph are possible.
Severe thunderstorms will continue to push through the Northeast over the next several hours, as another cold front and jet stream dip dive southward from Canada into a warm, humid air mass.
Damaging winds and hail will again be the main threats, however, a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
Lightning is of course always dangerous.
