Time to Get Organized is offering three free workshops during the month of September in conjunction with National Preparedness Month and fall. The first workshop is called Ready for Anything: Home Emergency Preparedness which helps prepare participants to get organized for disasters. Certified Professional Organizer® Amara Willey will walk attendees through steps will help them get ready to face natural and other disasters in their homes or neighborhoods. She will go over various topics that will help prepare for emergencies such as making a family evacuation and communication plan and creating a grab and go bag. Forms will be provided to get started on assembling a family’s vital information. Amara is a coalition member of the National Preparedness Month (September) campaign. The workshop will be on Thursday, September 20, at 7 p.m. at the Office of Time to Get Organized located in Annandale Square, 67 Beaver Avenue, Corbitt Building, Lower Level in Annandale, NJ. Have you ever wondered what a “really good credit score” is? And...how do you get it? Have you had some dings on your credit and wonder if they matter....and how to fix them? Increasing Your Credit I.Q. workshop will show you what is important in achieving a good credit score and why you need it! Please feel free to bring your own scenarios and ask questions! Mortgage industry professional Cheryl Sheasby will lead this informative workshop, which will be held on Thursday, September 27, at 7 p.m. at the Office of Time to Get Organized located in Annandale Square, 67 Beaver Avenue, Corbitt Building, Lower Level in Annandale, NJ. It is time to put away those summer clothes and put your fall wardrobe into your closet. Into the Closet with Amara-Out of the Closet with Annie, a joint closet organizing and fashion workshop, will help get your closet ready for fall. Amara Willey will share tips on how to keep their closets organized and show how to make the most out of the space available in your closet. Annie Rossi will give you great fall wardrobe ideas that will make you look stylish and better utilize the clothes that you already have in your closet. The workshop will be held on Sunday, September 30, at 1:30 p.m. at the Addicted Jeans Store, located at 43 Main Street, Clinton, NJ.
