Sept. 12: Greenest Place in Paterson Awards

PATERSON, NJ - Paterson residents who have won the “Greenest Place in Paterson” contest will receive prizes on Wed., Sept. 12 at the City Green Learning Center in Eastside Park at 6 pm.
The contest is sponsored by City Green, an urban farming, community garden and environmental educational programming non-profit based in Clifton, NJ.
Prizes will be awarded for: Best Overall Garden; Best Vegetable Garden; Best Flower Garden; Best Curb Appeal; Best Container Garden; Most Creative; Best Use of Art in the Garden; Best Church Garden; and for “Green Your Block” Projects: Most Neighborhood Participation on a Residential Block and on a Commercial Block.
City Green is a 501( c) 3 urban farming, community garden and educational programming organization based in Clifton, New Jersey currently working in the urban neighborhoods of Clifton, Paterson, Jersey City, West Orange and others.
