PATERSON, NJ – City police on Monday released video footage of two men rushing out of a bodega on Broadway at about the same time the owner and her son working inside were shot during an armed robbery last week.

Authorities are identifying the two men shown in the video as “persons of interest” but are not yet calling them suspects. The first part of the video shows the two men casually walking down the block. The second shows them later entering the bodega and then shows them rushing out of the store five minutes later. It also shows a third person running from the store shortly after that.

The robbery happened at about 12:40 am at the Esperanza Pueblo Grocery at 466 Broadway in the City of Paterson.

The Paterson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying those persons. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342 or 973-321-1120.
