WEST ORANGE, NJ - Rakeem Scott, 18, of Newark, the second suspect in the murder of Sandy Yuen, 57, of West Orange, was arrested Thursday morning in Boonton by the FBI Fugitive Task Force and Essex County Prosecutor's Office.

The announcement was made by Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and West Orange Police Chief James P. Abbott. The arrest follows the capture of the other suspect, Carline Inginac, 21, of West Orange, on Sept. 12. Scott was arrested without incident.

On Sept. 2, Yuen's daughter-in-law found the victim on the floor of the Chestnut Street apartment that they shared. Yuen had been babysitting her granddaughter, who was found unharmed in her crib upstairs.  The crime scene had been doused in bleach. Yuen's son told police that his mother would never have opened the door to a stranger. Inginac was a former resident in the apartment building.

Scott is charged with Murder, Felony Murder, Robbery, Weapons Offenses and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, according to Assistant Prosecutor Ralph E. Amirata, Director of the Prosecutor’s Homicide Unit. Scott is being held on $750,000 bail at the Essex County Correctional Facility.

Inginac, 21, of West Orange was  arraigned yesterday on Murder, Weapons Charges and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. She is currently being held in the Essex County Correctional Facility on $500,000 bail.
