10/22 The Foreman of a Terrill Rd. construction site reported that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) illegally dumped a large pile of dirt at his construction site.
10/24 A resident of Jerusalem Rd. reported being a victim of Fraud. He stated that unknown suspect(s) made approximately $900 in purchases on his credit card without his authorization.
10/24 A resident of Black Birch Rd. reported being a victim of fraud. She stated that unknown suspect(s) made approximately $400 in purchases on her credit card without her authorization.
10/24 Thomas Macken Age. 19 of Mountain Ave. Scotch Plains N.J. was arrested for a $358 outstanding warrant issued by the Scotch Plains court. Off. Ostrowski stopped Macken for a motor vehicle violation on Terrill Rd. and discovered the warrant. He was transported to H.Q. where he was processed and released.
10/25 A Fraud investigator from Westfield Ave. Bank reported being a victim of Fraud. The investigator reported that a suspect deposited 6 fraudulent checks in an account.
10/26 A resident of Lake Ave. reported being a victim of Criminal Mischief. She stated that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) scratched the side door of her vehicle.
10/27 Carlos Aguilar Age. 26 of Hamilton Blvd. South Plainfield N.J. was arrested for Obstruction of Justice. The Police responded to Flanders Ave. on a report of an individual trying to enter a vehicle. When the police arrived they found Aguilar intoxicated and dressed in a “Mr. Incredible” costume. Aguilar was arrested after he refused to answer the officer’s questions and he tried to run away. It was determined that he was drinking at a Halloween party and thought the car was his. He was transported back to H.Q. where he was processed and released.
