As of today, ninety days have passed since the unforgettable storm surge of Super Storm Sandy. Even though the news has stopped reporting every detail, we have not forgotten the horrors endured by so many in the Tri-State area.

As we have worked together to restore our communities, we are also excited to see that Congress has finalized Aid for victims of Sandy. Just yesterday, the Senate approved 51 billion dollars in aid, in addition to that aid distributed in October.

In a statement released to the press, governors Chris Christe, Andrew Cuomo, and Daniel Mallory thanked the American people for their contributions during this trying time. They continued, "we are grateful for [your] willingness to come to our aid as we take on the monumental task of rebuilding, and we pledge to do the same should our fellow citizens find themselves facing unexpected and harsh devastation.”

Here at PuroClean of Cranford, we are pleased to see federal aid stepping up to assist the truly heartfelt and generous aid we have seen from our neighbors since October. Now that the final installment of aid has become available to those who have lost their homes and businesses, we are even further on the path of recovery. We will never forget these natural tragedies, but together, we will continue to rebuild even stronger than before.
