Two Salt Brook School students, sixth-grader Sahana Narayan and third-grader Audrey Thompson, won awards at the state level in the national PTA Reflections program.  Sahana received an Award of Merit in the category of film production-middle for her piece, “Kevanna Saves the Forest.” Audrey received an Award of Merit in the category of visual arts-intermediate for her piece, “Musical Gophers.”

The national PTA Reflections program encourages students to pursue artistic expression. The program challenges students to reflect on a theme, this year “Believe, Dream, Inspire,” and create an original work in the category of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography or visual arts.
