The winner of the annual Agnes Lunetta Faith Scholarship was announced this week at a Mass at St. Patrick Church in Chatham. Jack Chambers, a seventh grade student at St. Patrick School, will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards eighth grade for his essay detailing how his experience at St. Patrick School has influenced his faith journey.

“We are proud of Jack, and all the students, for writing such heartfelt essays on their journeys and their growth in their relationship with the Lord” said Principal Dr. Marian Hobbie.

The scholarship was created in memory of Agnes Lunetta, a St. Patrick parishioner for over 60 years who was a strong supporter of academic and Catholic education. Each year seventh grade students are invited to write an essay on their personal faith journey at St. Patrick School with the winner selected by Mrs. Lunetta’s family.

St Patrick School is a co-educational school serving grades Pre-K through Eight, located in Chatham, NJ. St. Patrick’s is a national blue ribbon school offering advanced academics, competitive athletics, spiritual formation and leadership development in an environment of family, faith and integrity.
