FAIRFIELD, NJ - UPDATE: the road, according to a statement put out from the Fairfield Police at 7:22pm, has now been re-opened.
Rt. 46 West, near the Walgreens at 397 Rt. 46, Fairfield is closed due to debris in the roadway.

At 3:30pm, Anthony Manna from the Fairfield Police Department put out the following statement on their Swift 911 emergency notification system:
The left lane of Rt. 46 West near Walgreens is CLOSED due to a large amount of debris in the roadway. Expect delays.
