ROSELLE, NJ - Roselle resident Margaret Hall was presented with a check for $500 from Kathy Lloyd, executive director of Roselle 24/7 on Tuesday, June 24 while an inpatient at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. The donation is part of a grant program created by the non-profit group Roselle 24/7 in collaboration with the Borough of Roselle (Recreation Department).

A benefit walk was held last October in Warinanco Park to establish the funds for these grants. The inaugural walk was so successful and well received by the community that a second walk is planned for Oct. 4, 2014.

All proceeds from the event are earmarked to help Roselle residents who are undergoing treatments for cancer and are in need of financial assistance.
