Ring In The New Year In Randolph

RANDOLPH NJ- Happy New Year, and welcome to 2014. Many people are coming off a long break filled with family holiday celebrations, vacations, parties, or fun day trips. We are here to help you get back on track.
First we want to wish you, and all Randolph residents and businesses, happiness and success in 2014.
Listed below are reminders about some upcoming events over the next couple of weeks:
Wednesday, Jan. 1: Kicking off the New Year is the Randolph Township Council Annual Reorganization Meeting at the municipal building at 1 p.m. today. At this meeting, Randolph’s new Mayor will be selected, and volunteers will be appointed to township boards and advisor committees. The public is welcome to attend.
Thursday, Jan. 2: Randolph Schools open.
Friday, Jan. 3: At 7:30 p.m. is the 13th Annual RHS Talent show in the H.S. auditorium. Since Snow is in the forecast for Thursday into Friday, please be aware that the snow date for this event is Saturday January 4, also at 7:30 pm
Monday, Jan. 6: All schools have a one hour early dismissal.
Tuesday, Jan. 7: The first Randolph Board of Education meeting for 2014 will be held at 8:00 p.m., which is the board’s organization meeting, and rescheduled award presentations will be held.
Tuesday, Jan. 14: At 7:30 pm in the RMS auditorium, is the Randolph Middle School Select Ensembles Winter Concert. Performing will be the Canzonetta Select Choir, the Jazz Ensemble, and the Percussion Ensemble.
Thursday, Jan. 16: The Randolph Area Chamber of Commerce is holding a lunch meeting at 11:45 at LaStrada Resturant. The topic is “What’s new in Randolph”, and Deputy Mayor Jim Loveys will be the speaker discussing new business ventures and development that could be coming to the township. Members ($20) and non members ($30) are welcome to attend.
Thursday, Jan. 16: The Randolph Middle School 6th Grade Winter Concert at 7:30 pm.
