RHS Performing Arts Success Recognized

Sophomore Leslie Chang was nominated for the Mayo Performing Arts Center Outstanding Violinist of the Month for November.

Leslie was selected as one of four students from New Jersey as honorees this month and she will be given this recognition at the MAYO Arts Center in Morristown on Saturday, Nov. 16 at the Itzhak Perlman concert starting at 7:30 p.m. 

Leslie will have the opportunity to meet with Mr. Perlman, one of the world’s greatest violinists, after the concert with the other four honorees. Congratulations, Leslie!

Congratulations to the Marching Rams.  At the Bloomfield Marching Band Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 2, the Rams placed first in their division and received a rating of Superior. They also won Best Percussion and Best Color Guard in their division.  Additionally, the Marching Rams competed against all 14 bands in the competition and won the awards for Best Color Guard in show, Best Percussion in show, and Best Overall Band!

The world –renowned Shanghai String Quartet will be the guest artist this year at Randolph String Fest.  String Fest will take place on Monday, February 24.  Tickets for the Shanghai String Quartet performance will be available as further details of String Fest are developed.
