SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ – The Scotch Plains Rescue Squad held their 4th annual Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, Feb. 24.
“This was our best one ever,” said Jennifer Speth, founder of the Rescue Squad’s Auxiliary. “Between ticket sales, raffles and other donations we were able to clear over $2,500 after expenses, making this the highest amount we have ever raised.”
Auxiliary members were on hand to cook pancakes and sausage, serve breakfast and raffle off baskets donated by the various sponsors.
“We really had a great turn out,” said Joanne Glover, wife of Scotch Plains Mayor Kevin Glover and an Auxiliary member.
In addition to the Mayor and his wife, the entire Scotch Plains Council put in an appearance is a show of support for the Rescue Squad.
