LIVINGSTON, NJ – On Sunday, Sept. 29, Regal Bank hosted its annual Howl-ling Pawrade to honor Livingston’s furry friends and to raise money and awareness for the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter.

“It was fun. Lilly, the dog that won biggest dog is at the shelter and has been there for a while.  She’s a good dog and we want to see her adopted,” said Sheena Lassiter of Regal Bank.  Abby Berenbak, development coordinator for the shelter also described Lilly as a “sweet, energetic boxer-hound mix.”

Regal Bank has been partnering with the shelter for many years in this event and always hosts a “pawrade” where residents can come strut their muts in costume.

“They are long term supporters and over the years has contributed thousands of dollars. This money goes a long way towards insuring that we can provide exceptional care for over 1,000 homeless dogs and cats that come through our doors every single year,” said Berenbak.

“This past event was as much of a success as it was in past years and we had a great time. It was a beautiful fun day and a ‘pawesome’ day for our shelter animals.”

Anyone interested in adopting a homeless dog or cat can contact Mt. Pleasan Animal Shelter at (973) 386-0590.
