The ARZA/Israel committee of Temple Emanu-El of West Essex in Livingston, NJ invites you to Sunday brunch on October 21, 2012 at 9:00am to listen to an insider's perspective from Jerusalem on the US election's impact on Israel. They have invited Gil Hoffman, the chief political correspondent and analyst of The Jerusalem Post to speak. He is well-connected to Israeli and Palestinian leaders; Hoffman has interviewed every major figure across the Israeli political spectrum, has been interviewed by top media on six continents and is a regular analyst on CNN, Al-Jazeera and other news outlets.

Called "The most optimistic man in Israel" by Israel Television, Hoffman's writing and TV appearances provide a behind the scenes look at the intrigue and humor in the Israeli political arena. Hoffman, who was raised in Chicago, graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University's School of Journalism and wrote for the Miami Herald and Arizona Republic before moving to Israel. A reserve soldier in the IDF's Spokesman's Unit, he has lectured in seven countries and 40 US states. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife, and two children.

This brunch program is co-sponsored by the Jewish National Fund and the ARZA Committee of Temple Emanu-El. Reservations for the brunch and talk are not necessary, but are encouraged. Open to the public, no fee. Please call the temple office to RSVP at 973-992-5560. Temple Emanu-El of West Essex is located at 264 West Northfield Road, Livingston.
