Nov. 25: Officer Melissa Bailey responded to the K-Mart on the report of shoplifting. The loss prevention officer was monitoring the store’s security camera system when he observed a Hispanic male remove two pair of headphones from the display rack and try to exit the store. When the loss prevention officer approached the suspect, he dropped the headphones and fled the scene. The incident is under investigation.
Nov. 26: Officer Michael Shoudy, Det. Brian McGaughran and Officer Daniel Novoa responded to residence on Diane Ct. for the report of a Burglary. The victim returned home to find the master bedroom was ransacked, with all of the dresser drawers left wide open and item strewn across the bedroom floor. The Morris County Sheriff's office arrived and processed the scene. Investigation is continuing.
Nov. 27: Officer Jason DelTurco and Officer Jason Gould responded to Quail Run for the report of a Burglary. Upon entering the residence, the officers observed two gold necklaces laying on the walkway and an alarm sensor was lying on the floor and the bedrooms appeared to have been ransacked. The Morris County Sheriff’s office arrived and processed the scene. Investigation is continuing.
Nov. 28: Officer Jason DelTurco responded to Quail Run for the report of damaged mailbox. The mailbox post had been pulled out of the ground. There did not appear to be any damage to the mailbox itself.
Nov. 29: While Officer Kevin Clark was conducting a Driving While Intoxicated detail, he observed a white 4 door Honda not stopping at the stop sign on West Hanover Ave. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined that Jaramillo was intoxicated. Jaramillo was transported to headquarters for processing, where he has also charged with reckless driving, fail to stop, fail to observe traffic signal and failure to exhibit a driver license.
