Pure Pilates in New Providence Offers Exercise Programs for Core Muscles

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Anyone who has been curious about the concept of Pilates and in search of an exercise regimen stressing core strength and flexibility has a chance to experience the physical fitness system first-hand right in town.
Pure Pilates, a boutique studio in New Providence, is offering a free 45-minute introductory class for those interested in trying Pilates for the first time. The class can also serve as a refresher and introduction to the Pure Pilates studio.
Classes take place on the second Saturday of each month. The next class is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 10:30 a.m. at the Pure Pilates studio, 133 Gales Drive in New Providence. There will be a maximum of five people at the introductory session, which focuses on the movements of the Pilates Method performed on the most popular piece of equipment –- the Reformer, which offers a total body workout.
Participants are also offered a promotional price for a private session for Pilates training in a one-on-one setting. This individual attention provides a deeper focus and enables the certified instructor to further assess a person’s fitness level. Plus, it provides people an additional opportunity to see if Pilates is the right fit for them.
“The introductory classes we have conducted have been very successful, not only for the studio but for individuals who participate,” says Carol Crincoli, the owner of Pure Pilates and also an instructor. “The studio has a loyal following, and the majority of those who take the intro class truly enjoy the experience and become long standing members.”
The studio also offers workshops, open to all, that focus on supporting a healthy lifestyle for the mind and body through nutrition, yoga and massages. The next workshop — Back to Basics: The Pilates Fundamentals — takes place on Saturday, March 29 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and will be geared towards deepening one’s practice by focusing on the foundation for every exercise on the Mat, Reformer, Tower and Chair.
