On July 30, 2012 the N.J. Division of Highway Traffic Safety honored Ptl. Chad Rybka of the Madison Police Department with the agency's DWI Top Gun award. The Top Gun award is presented to the officer who made the most impaired driver arrests in each municipality, county and state. 

The award is given by the New Jersey Division of Highway Traffic Safety (DHTS), in conjunction with the agencies “NJ Remembers" event held in Trenton (http://www.nj.gov/oag/hts/nj_remembers.html). The event honors those killed by drunk drivers.
