Proposal To Limit Parking Near Main St. Preschool

PATERSON, NJ - The City Council is considering a proposal that would restrict parking near A Child's World Presschool at 433-35 Main Street during school days.
The proposed ordinace would ban parking on a 100-foot stretch of the east side of the street from 7-9 am and 2:30-5 pm. The school is located near the corner of Main and Slater streets.
The council is scheduled to take a prelliminary vote on the change at its meeting on Tuesday. If that passes, then the city would hold a public hearing on the issue.
