President's Cup 5K Night Race to be Held in Millburn June 16

MILLBURN, NJ  - The 35th Annual Investors Bank President’s Cup Night Race will be hosted on Monday, June 16, at 8 p.m. by the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce.

This popular 5K run attracts more than 1,400 runners each year and follows a route along Essex Street and Millburn Avenue finishing near Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill, where pre- and post-race activities will occur.

A Kid’s Fun Run will be held prior to the race, and begins at 7:30 p.m. on Essex Street, adjacent to the Charlie Brown’s parking lot.

Investors Bank is once again the major corporate sponsor for the race, and are joined this year by The Sneaker Factory, the Mall at Short Hills, Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill, Peerless Beverage Company, Samuel Adams and Saucony.

Additional Race sponsors include: The American Red Cross, Hilton Short Hills, Katz-Novoa Architects & Planners, Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Sports Training Physical Therapy. Also included as sponsors are: Studio 1200 Architects, Summit Medical Group, The Alternative Press.com, Weichert Realtors and Pride Products. Additional sponsors are: Casey & Keller, Inc., Millburn Laser Center, New Jersey American Water Company, Millburn PBA Local #34, Russo Bros. Plumbing and Heating and Paper Mill Playhouse. The Sneaker Factory will be responsible for race registration and organization. Race prizes will be courtesy of Saucony.  Priddy Learning Academy is providing medals to all participants in the Kids Fun Run.
