Peter Yarrow of "Peter, Paul and Mary" to Sign Children's Book in Maplewood

MAPLEWOOD, NJ - Peter Yarrow, of "Peter, Paul, and Mary" fame, will be signing copies of his children’s book, "I’m in Love with a Big Blue Frog," at Words bookstore in Maplewood on Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 PM.
"I’m in Love with a Big Blue Frog," the eponymous title of their 1967 hit song, has been a favorite ever since. Not only do children delight in the playful tune, but adults also embrace its lyrics, which gently send a message of tolerance in the most lighthearted, humorous way.
As this one-of-a-kind couple shows, their mix is a happy one and proof that being a little unconventional can be a beautiful thing. An accompanying CD features Peter, Paul and Mary’s irresistible recording of the song, perfect for singing along, as well as two other songs recorded just for the book: “The Froggy Went ‘Courtin,” sung by Peter Yarrow and “Inside,” sung by Noel Paul Stookey.
