Pennsylvania Man Missing After Visiting Family in New Providence

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Jersey State Police have issued a silver alert for a 77-year-old Pittsburgh man suffering from dementia and diabetes who was visiting his daughter in New Providence and who has since disappeared.
Alfonso Priano has been missing since approximately 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 5. He was visiting from his home in Pittsburgh and announced he was leaving to fill up his car at a gas station. He did not return. Priano was driving a red 2009 Nissan Altima with Pennsylvania plates reading HGV - 6926.
When last seen, Priano, who is 5-foot-6, 180 pounds, was wearing a yellow shirt, beige shorts and glasses.
He could be headed toward Pennsylvania, authorities believe.
