eapack-Gladstone Bank has been recognized by the American Heart Association for its 2011 efforts in their “Go Red for Women” campaign.  Each year Peapack-Gladstone Bank joins financial institutions throughout New Jersey and across the nation in bringing awareness of the No. 1 health threat facing women today – cardiovascular disease – which claims the lives of nearly 422,000 women annually.  On February 4, 2011, Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees wore red on National Wear Red Day for Women, a nation-wide program sponsored by the American Heart Association. The purpose of this annual campaign is to promote awareness of women’s risk for heart disease and stroke along with preventative measures that can be taken to reduce that risk. 

Peapack-Gladstone Bank employees made monetary donations to the American Heart Association in support of awareness, research, education and community programs to benefit women.  This financial support provides women with the tools and motivation needed to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease and protect their health. 

Overall, Peapack-Gladstone Bank was the 5^th highest fundraiser in the New Jersey Banking/Financial Team category for 2011.  Bridget J. Walsh, Senior Vice President, Human Resources Director, will receive the recognition award on behalf of Peapack-Gladstone Bank.  Walsh has also been selected to serve on the 10^th Anniversary Garden State “Go Red for Women” Committee which will focus on celebrating New Jersey’s upcoming 10^th Anniversary Go Red Campaign to be celebrated on February 3, 2012.
