MILLTOWN, NJ - Parkview School students will return to classes tomorrow, Sept. 11, however they will be attending an alternate location while the cleanup from the mold outbreak at Parkview continues.
The following announcement was made by the Milltown School District:
Please be reminded that school will reopen for Parkview students tomorrow Wednesday, Sept. 11. Grades K-4 students are being relocated to Our Lady of Lourdes School at 44 Cleveland Avenue and will follow an early dismissal schedule. Students will remain on this schedule until further notice.
Grades 1 – 4: Early dismissal is at 1 p.m.
Kindergarten AM Schedule: 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
PM Schedule: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Students who are already enrolled in SACC will be provided before and after care. If your child is not enrolled in the SACC program and you are unable to pick up your child on these early dismissal days, contact Mrs. Ferlazzo at the OLOL Main Office number (732) 828-1951.
Pre-school students in classes with Mrs. O’Rouke and Ms. Heusser are being relocated to St. Paul’s Education Facility, 7 West Lakewood Ave., the same facility that houses Good Day School. Preschool students will follow a regular school day schedule. There is no before or after care available at the St. Paul’s facility .
Parent drop-off for each location will be as follows:
OLOL grades K-4: Booream Avenue entrance (Please take Van Liew to Lawrence to Booream)
Good Day grade PreK: Driveway beyond main entrance of the building, 2nd door on the right
Parent pick-up for each location will be as follows:
OLOL grades K-4: Parking is on the street. Students will line up on the blacktop playground area.
Good Day grade PreK: Parent parking is in the back of the building. Students will be dismissed from the same classroom door that was used for drop-off.
All teachers will be stationed outside during drop-off and pick up of students.
All students should bring a snack and water bottle during these early dismissal days (Grades K-4).
Additionally, we would appreciate if you could send in any school supplies that you may have at home with your child that you would like to donate. Paper, pencils, crayons, scissors, etc. We would all be grateful for any contributions.
