Parking Change Proposed For 6th Ward Street

PATERSON, NJ - The City Council has given preliminary appproval to change in parking patterns on Eagle Avenue, between Main Street and Knickerbocker Avenue.
Under the change, the east side of the street would be converted to angle parking. That's designed to create more spaces in a neighborhood where available parking can be scarce.
The council approved the ordinance changing the parking on first reading on January 24. A public hearing and final vote most likely will be scheduled for February.
