Our House 5-Mile Run Through Streets of Summit Set for May 4

SUMMIT, NJ - The Our House 15th annual Five-Miler and Two-Mile Walk through the streets of Summit will take place May 4. Packet pickup begins at 11 a.m., with the race starting at 1 p.m.
That same afternoon at 2 p.m., the 11th Annual “Everyone’s a Winner” race, which promotes the organization's theme of "Our House, Our Community", invites people with developmental disabilities, ages 6-60, to participate. Each racer will receive a T-shirt, medal, and refreshments.
Our House, Inc., founded in 1980, is a private, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization that provides residential, employment, and recreational services to individuals with developmental and other disabilities. The goal and mission of Our House, Inc., is to promote a high quality of life for these individuals and help them to become productive members of the community. They strive to provide these opportunities in a supportive, safe environment that stresses “abilities, not disabilities”.
The cost to participate is $25, if signed up prior to May 2, and registration is available online at PracticeHard.com. Interested parties can register online after May 2 and on-site during race day for $30. All registrants will receive a commemorative long-sleeve, race shirt, a "swag bag", plus there will be continuous DJ music. and refreshments available.
