Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Presents Book Scholarships to Students of Paterson Eastside and Kennedy High School

PATERSON, NJ - The Men of Lambda Upsilon Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. presented Book Scholarships to two deserving youth of Paterson, N.J.  As part of it’s internationally mandated programs, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. provides financial assistance to students and non-members by providing scholarships to deserving students.  This year’s winners of the book scholarships displayed qualities of leadership, academic excellence as well as athletic excellence.  The recipients of the scholarships were very appreciated and thanked Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. as well as Brother Gerald Glisson for the scholarship. 

This year’s scholarship recipients are Jaqui Martin and Shaon Stephenson.  Jacqui Martin is a senior at Eastside High School and maintains over 3.00 GPA.  Shaon Stephenson is a senior at John F. Kennedy High School and maintains over a 3.00 GPA.

In addition to presenting scholarships, attendees were treated to an afternoon of Jazz that was provided by Lambda Upsilon’s own Q and Friends.
