North Caldwell Fire Department Enjoys Annual Dinner

NORTH CALDWELL, NJ - Fire Department Chief John D'Ascensio recounted Saturday night’s Annual Fire Dinner which his unit hosted at Mayfair Farms.
During the dinner, North Caldwell Police Chief Mark Deuer presented a plaque to the North Caldwell Fire Department.
“The chief presented the plaque to our department to honor the bond that we have developed and to express how well we work together during hurricanes, blizzards or just everyday calls,” commented D’Ascensio. “I must say there is never an approach that we can't do it; rather it is a can do attitude.”

Also in attendance was Jefferson and Kathleen Tilley. “Jeff is a Life Member and he will be moving Oregon in the Spring,” commented the chief.
Special Guests who attended included members of the Mayor and Council, Mutual Aid Fire Officers and David Black from the West Essex 1st Aid Squad. The Dinner Committee was led by Mark Bifalco and Janice Stickles. Bechtold and Barillari were unfortunately absent from the dinner.
