NJ Film School to show "Win Win"
NJ FILM SCHOOL kicks off its Screening & Lecture Series this Friday, November 30th at 8:00pm with a showing of “WIN WIN”. Set in New Providence, this charming indie film was written by New Providence natives Tom McCarthy & Joe Tiboni and stars Paul Giamatti.
Tom McCarthy, fresh from the success of “Station Agent” and “The Visitor”, decided to return to his roots and call upon his childhood friend Joe Tiboni, who still resides and practices law in their hometown. Together they wrote the story of a small-town lawyer who coaches the local high school wrestling team, using their own experiences from their time on the New Providence High School wrestling team. Joe stayed on as an advisor while Tom directed, working together from casting to film festivals.
NJ Film School is excited to be in its new location in New Providence, having been in Martinsville for the past three years. Their newly renovated, larger facility includes a theatre which offers the opportunities for screening, film festivals, and more. They are delighted to have JOE TIBONI as the Special Guest Speaker for this Friday’s screening. Joe will talk about his experiences during the filmmaking process and answer questions.
Tickets are $10 at the door, but seating is limited. Reserve your seat now at Tickets@NJ FilmSchool.com. NJ Film School is located at 755 Central Ave, New Providence. For more information, visit our website at NJFilmSchool.com or call (908) 508-0800.
