New Vernon Man Arrested for DUI After Three-Vehicle Accident

On 6/7/2012 at approximately 9:32 p.m. Patrolman Vincent Dellavalle arrested 29 year old Michael Principe of New Vernon N.J. He charged him with driving under the influence. Ptl. Dellavalle responded to a 3 car motor vehicle accident at Loantaka Way and Woodland Road. After a field investigation he determined Principe was operating his
vehicle under the influence of alcohol. He was taken to headquarters for processing. After processing he was released to a family member pending a mandatory court appearance. Principe was also issued motor vehicle summonses for refusal to submit to a breath test, using a cell phone while driving, and uninsured motorist. Sgt. Lam assisted with the
arrest.

On 6/15/2012 at 11:12 am Patrolman Mike Minni arrested 26 year old Jacqulyn Scott of Jersey City N.J. on the strength of a $250 dollar traffic warrant issued by Madison Municipal Court. Ptl. Minni was contacted by the Florham Park Police Department who had her in custody. She was transported to headquarters for processing. After
processing she was released after posting bail. The Madison Police Department, Fire Department, and Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to approximately 19 medical emergencies.

Madison Police Department investigated 15 motor vehicle crashes during the week.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
