New Providence High School's Annual Fashion Show Displays Latest in Prom Styles

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - “Some Enchanted Evening” was the theme for this year’s fashion show at New
Providence High school. A total of 88 seniors participated in this year’s event, each of them dressed in the latest prom fashions.
The girls wore stunning gowns from La Belle Boutique of Jersey City and also Lord & Taylor of Westfield. The males wore tuxedos from Coleman’s Menswear in Short Hills.
The night also consisted of auctioning off over a grand total of 20,000 worth of prizes, including a 50-inch flat screen television and Taylor Swift concert tickets. The fashion show is one of the high school's biggest events of the year. All the money raised goes to the PTSA.
Penny Vigilante, who co-chairs the event said planning starts in October and is truly a community event, bringing out moms, dads, and even younger siblings.
