The New Providence girls' varsity basketball team played Newark Vocational in the First NJSIAA Sectional Round today at New Providence High School. The Pioneers defeated Newark with a final score of 79-25, bringing them onto round 2.

New Providence Municipal Property Tax to Increase 2.24 Percent NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – After holding a public hearing, the Borough Council unanimously approved a 2013 budget that will raise municipal property taxes by 2.24 percent.
