New Officers for Literacy Volunteers

Literacy Volunteers of Sussex County (LVSC) has announced the officers for the 2013/14 fiscal year.  They are (left to right in picture): Pete Struble, Treasurer;  Carol Wilson, President;  Joy Daniel, Vice-president; and Marguerite Gadel, Secretary.

LVSC’s 100 volunteers provide free  tutoring in English and related skills for adults in Sussex and northern Warren County.  This is one-on-one tutoring, confidential,  directed always at each individual’s specific objectives. 

The officers bring a variety of backgrounds to their LVSC responsibilities:

                Carol Wilson, President, comes from the education field, having retired from the Green Hills Middle School

                Joy Daniel, Vice-president,  from business, as Associate Director of Product Development at Sharp Electronics

                Pete Struble , Treasurer,  also from business, at High Grade Beverage

                Marguerite Gadel, Secretary, from  market research ,  as Senior VP for Marketing Planning and Technical Services at The Wool Bureau.
