National Weather Service Issues Winter Weather Advisory

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The National Weather Service in Philadelphia has issued a winter weather advisory for Middlesex County, New Jersey until 1:00am Monday Morning. The snow and sleet accumulations are expected to be around 2-3 inches. The greatest snow accumulations are expected to be from inland Monmouth County westward.
The National Weather Service reports there will be periods of snow in varying intensity this evening. The snow will mix with sleet and eventually change over to rain by late tonight. The change over from snow, to sleet, to rain will occur from the southeast to the northwestern parts of the State. Expect hazardous road conditions on elevated roadways, bridges and untreated roadways.
