Multiple Disputes in the Randolph August Police Blotter

Aug 3:  Victoria H. Devore, 19, Randolph was arrested for DWI by Officer Brett Sommer, following an investigation for a separate incident.  Devore was also issued several motor vehicle summonses.

Aug 4: Officer Brian Gallina responded to “The Clubhouse Golf Center for a reported theft.  An employee of the golf center stated that four grass insert mats had been stolen from the driving range.  Investigation to continue.

Aug 4: Officer Robert Coyle took a report of an attempted fraud.  The victim had found a house for rent in Randolph on Craigslist.  The rental owner and victim had communicated several times thru email.  The victim became suspicious when he was advised to send a Western Union Money Order for one month’s rent and security deposit.  Officer Coyle did a search of the property on the internet and identified multiple real estate websites listing the property for sale. Officer Coyle made contact with the homeowner and explained that the suspect had used the publicity information about their house to convince others that he is renting their house.

Aug. 4: Michele D. Stalter, Blairstown was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Dover Joint Municipal Court.  Stalter posted bail and was released.

Aug 5: Officer Robert Coyle took a report of identity theft.  The victim received a phone call from “Capital One” credit card asking if she had attempted to open up a credit card account.  Someone attempted to open an account using the victim’s personal identification, but had listed a different mailing address on the application.

Aug. 5: Rolando L. Munoz, 24, Hopatcong was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Wharton Boro Municipal Court.  Munoz posted bail and was released.

Aug 5: Delby J. Rodriguez, 24, Jersey City was arrested on an outstanding warrant issued by the Randolph Municipal Court.  Rodriguez was unable to post bail and was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility.

Aug 5: Andrew J. Williams, 19, Randolph was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Randolph Municipal Court.  Williams was unable to post bail and was transported to the Morris County Correctional Facility.

Aug 6: Officer Daniel Novoa responded to a business on Franklin Rd for a verbal dispute.  The dispute was over delivery trucks parking in the fire lane which made it difficult for vehicles to access the parking lot.

Aug 7: Officer James Pritchard, Jr. was conducting a business check on Sussex Turnpike when he observed a motorcycle enter the parking lot.  The operator of the motorcycle appeared to be impared.  Upon further investigation, Denis M. Schrader, 23, Randolph was arrest for DWI.  Schrader was also issued several motor summonses.

Aug 7: Louis J. Figueras, 26, Patterson was arrested for an outstanding warrant issued by the Jersey City Municipal Court.  Figueras was processed and release.

Aug 8: Officer Sean Verbist responded to Arnold Dr for a report of criminal mischief, a residence being egged.  Approximately a dozen egg shells were in the area of the front door.

Aug 9: Officer Daniel Novoa responded to Barclay Court for a verbal dispute.  The dispute was between two neighbors over assigned parking spaces.

Aug 9:  Several officers responded to ‘Vegas NJ’ on the report of an assault.  A patron was upset over not being able to locate his jacket.  It was unclear whether the patron sustained his injuries from a fall, or if he was assaulted.  The patron was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital.
