MONTVILLE, NJ - At Montville Township’s Committee meeting on June 10, JCP&L representatives were present to hear the questions and concerns of residents regarding its Montville-Whippany Reinforcement Project.

During the meeting, at least a dozen Montville residents, including former Mayor Tim Braden, and each of the members of the Township Committee, voiced their questions and concerns about the proposed power line upgrade focusing mainly on the potential effect on the health of Montville residents living, working and attending school near the power lines, the impact on home property values, and environmental disturbances especially in areas not already impacted by the PSE&G power lines.

The Township recorded the questions raised during the meeting and submitted them to JCP&L.  Click here to read the questions and related responses that were provided to the Township by JCP&L on June 30.
