Today we'll be experiencing Winter Storm Luna; it's an ice storm coming to us from the Midwest. Last night the storm caused 4,000 outages in Illinois because of ice accumulations on power lines. Over 200 flights were canceled at Chicago's O'Hare Int'l Airport Sunday, and this morning over 200 flights have been canceled at both Newark and LaGuardia Airports.

The Winter Weather Advisory for Snow / Sleet / Freezing Rain is from 10am until 6pm. Accumulation should be less than 1" but travel will be difficult.

Be prepared for outages, charge all items now, have flashlights and candles on hand. Call PSEG if you have an outage as soon as it happens to "ping" their system, 800-436-PSEG (7734).
