Thursday, July 31, 2014 • 3:07am
Molly Maguire’s at Main and Wood streets in Lansdale is reopening for lunch Thursday after a minor roof fire ignited by roofers on a new construction job next door Wednesday afternoon temporarily shut down operations, reports The Reporter.
According to reports, a small fire broke out where the two roofs meet.
There were no injuries. Colmar Fire Co. assisted at the scene.
The property next door at 327 W. Main St. is the site of the former Attic thrift store aka the former Impact! Thrift Store aka the former Puritan Men’s Shop.
It is currently being developed to accommodate either four or five retail spaces. The latter option offers more than 10,000 square feet of total retail space. The property was purchased by Botany Shoppes LLC of Feasterville for $470,000 in April 2014. The 10-month-old Botany Shoppes LLC shares the same address as Horgan General Contractor, Inc.
A St. Patrick’s Society event and fundraiser for Laurel House scheduled at Molly Maguire’s on Wednesday night was moved to Round Guys Brewery.
TAP Into North Penn was at the event. Stay tuned for our feature story.
