Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce Seeking New Board Members

MILLBURN, NJ - The Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce isseeking candidates to be considered for serving on the 2013-2014 Board of Directors. Candidates who are interested in furthering the Chamber’s mission with their time, energy, expertise and passion should complete the required on-line survey by March 30.
Ileana Martin-Novoa, President of the Millburn-Short Hills Chamber of Commerce added, “Our Board of Directors is a hard-working, passionate group of business leaders. We are putting our nominations online to create a transparent nomination process. Serving on the Board of Directors allows members from the business community to have a voice in Chamber policies while serving this community we want to see thrive.”
In addition to attending regular monthly board meetings, each member of the Board ofDirectors is required to serve on at least one committee. Committees include: Marketing, Fundraising, Finance/Budget, Membership/Volunteers and Special Events.
The Chamber’s Nominating Committee may not be able to seat everyone interested in serving and the election is at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors.
