Millburn Schools Rock Fundraiser Set for March 8

MILLBURN, NJ - The Fifth Annual ‘Millburn Schools Rock’ Gala is presented by the Millburn Education Foundation and primary sponsor, local resident, Shannon Aronson, Sales Associate at Keller Williams Realty. The gala will be held on Friday, March 8, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Crestmont Country Club.
This is the Millburn Education Foundation's biggest fundraising event of the year. The proceeds from MILLBURN SCHOOLS ROCK will help the Education Foundation continue to fund innovative and progressive technology and programs, enhancing the Millburn Public School curriculum.In addition to entertainment, the event will include food, an open bar, a silent auction, raffle baskets and a wine pull. Prizes include sports memorabilia and tickets, jewelry, merchandise from local and national retailers, Disney World Tickets, VIP tickets to certain school events (including graduations) and more. The Education Foundation's mission is to ensure continued educational excellence for Millburn Public Schools by providing financial support for innovative and progressive improvements that enrich the academic experience.
The event will feature bidding on interactive iPod Touch-based devices. The device will even tell you if you get out-bid on your favorite item. New this year will be automated check-out to avoid long check-out lines.
This fundraising event will feature three of Millburn’s finest bands, Poet Section, Cat’s Ok Band, and The Undertakers. All three feature the very best local talent and include parents of Millburn students, making them perfect choices to rock the crowd at this event benefitting the schools. Featuring these three bands also ensures there will be something for everyone, from classic rock, to funk, blues and jam-band favorites. As the name of the event says, Millburn Schools Rock, and so will this gala.
