SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ - All Halloween activities in Fanwood are cancelled, including the parade and the Trick-or-Trunck.  DO NOW ALLOW CHILDREN TO TRICK-OR-TREAT IN THE STREETS!

Fanwood sustained major damage during this week’s storm. Many streets remain blocked by downed trees and wires.  Please help keep our children safe!

Here’s the latest information as of 11:30am:

Customers may call 800-436-PSED for information or to report a downed wire. NEVER APPROACH DOWNED WIRES. CALL 911 IF YOU SEE A DOWNED WIRE.

There is no estimate for the return of power.

ROADS:

Martine Avenue remains blocked at Paterson and MacLennan Place.

LaGrande Avenue is blocked at 2nd Street.

Fanwood DPW is in the southwest quadrant today clearing streets.

DO NOT DRIVE OVER OR UNDER DOWNED WIRES! ALWAYS ASSUME DOWNED WIRES ARE LIVE!
