BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Marc Faecher has been a resident of Berkeley Heights for 20 years. While Faecher is a newcomer to the Berkeley Heights political arena, he is no stranger to community leadership and involvement.

A proven leader and community safety advocate, he has effectively sought to improve the safety of neighborhoods. Successfully working with the Township Council and Police Department, Faecher sought to ensure traffic patterns and road speeds that protect children and adults alike.

A coach for the PAL in many sports for the past 7 years, Marc Faecher has also served as a Cub Scout Den Leader in local Pack 368. He served as a two term Trustee on the Overlook Hospital Foundation Board and Chair of its Annual Giving Committee for five years.

He brings his expertise in fund development to Berkeley Heights with a determination to seek alternative revenue sources for the town.  Recognizing that the continued strength of our schools and town cannot depend on local property taxes alone, Faecher will seek to further develop public/private partnerships with businesses and corporations as well as with individuals to improve facilities in our community.

An attorney and Sr. Vice President with TRC, a publicly traded environmental, energy and infrastructure engineering firm, he is part of the Senior Management Team responsible for the overall execution of the Company’s business plan and financial strategy.  He is also charged with the legal, financial and regulatory execution of major projects within the company.  Such expertise will be invaluable to situations in Berkeley Heights that require these unique insights and skills.

An active member of the NJ State Bar Association, Faecher is a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the country.

He and his wife Kristin have three sons.
